Adult autism assessments

Finding a psychologist who understands your experiences can make a meaningful difference. I provide  therapy for adolescents, adults, specialized support for couples in which one or both partners are autistic, and consultation services and comprehensive autism diagnostic assessments for adults who wonder whether they may be autistic.

Work collaboratively to understand patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, emotional difficulties, relationship concerns, or challenges navigating major life transitions. Treatment is individualized to your needs, goals, and strengths.

Consultations

Guidance navigating life transitions, educational and mental health challenges, and complex support needs. I help individuals, families, and professionals clarify needs, identify resources, coordinate care, and plan next steps.

Support for the Challenges That Matter to You

Couples & Family Therapy

Develop a better understanding of one another, improve communication, and address recurring relationship patterns. I have specialized training in working with neurodivergent couples, including couples in which one or both partners are autistic.

Adult Autism Assessments

If you have wondered whether you may be autistic, a comprehensive assessment can help you explore that question. I provide adult autism diagnostic assessments with a written report and individualized recommendations.

Understanding Your Journey

My approach is relationship-focused, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. I take time to understand how you experience the world, what has been difficult, what has helped, and what you would like to change. For autistic and other neurodivergent clients, this means considering the fit between a person's needs and their environment rather than assuming that every difficulty reflects a problem within the person. Together, we can identify practical strategies, build self-understanding, strengthen self-advocacy, and work toward meaningful goals.

A Nuanced Understanding of Neurodivergence

I have extensive experience working with autistic people across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, including people who discover or explore their autistic identity later in life. I also work with couples navigating differences in communication, emotional expression, sensory needs, expectations, and daily responsibilities. My specialized training in therapy with neurodivergent couples informs a collaborative approach that seeks to understand both partners rather than assigning blame.
