Christine Caselles, PhD, Licensed Psychologist

I am a Maryland-licensed psychologist with more than 25 years of clinical experience. My practice is grounded in the belief that effective psychological care begins with understanding the individual: their experiences, relationships, strengths, challenges, and goals. I strive to offer a compassionate, curious, and collaborative environment where people can explore difficult questions without feeling reduced to a diagnosis or a set of symptoms.

Individualized Care

My approach is rooted in evidence-based psychological treatments, adapted to meet the unique needs of each individual. I take time to understand how you experience the world, what has been difficult, and what you would like to change. For autistic and neurodivergent clients, this means focusing on the fit between a person's needs and their environment rather than assuming every difficulty reflects a problem within the person.

Specialized Experience

A Nuanced Understanding of Neurodivergence

I have extensive experience working with autistic people across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, with a particular focus on autistic adults, including those who discover or explore their autistic identity later in life.

Autistic Adults

I aim to approach these concerns with curiosity and respect for neurodiversity, recognizing that each person has a distinct profile of strengths, needs, and experiences. Whether you are navigating relationships, managing anxiety, or exploring your identity, we can work together to build a life that feels more sustainable and meaningful.

Neurodivergent Couples

My specialized training in therapy with neurodivergent couples informs a collaborative approach that seeks to understand both partners rather than assigning blame. We work to understand the interaction between both partners' perspectives, communication styles, and emotional needs to develop greater understanding and practical strategies that support the relationship.
